Tiger Chute 400mm diameter base kit is designed and manufactured for installation inside a two-storey dwelling supplied with a stainless steel pipe finishing plate, for direct connection inside a cupboard on the landing or to a bathroom counter top. The Tiger Chute laundry kit is designed for a straight drop from first floor to the ground floor in a two storey home. The laundry chute door is ideally located on a landing, within a family bathroom or an en-suite and can terminate in the downstairs utility room, kitchen or ground floor cupboard where a collection basket can be located below.
The stainless steel lid is provided as part of the overall Tiger Chute base kit.
Tiger Chute components are completely smooth bore and free from internal abrasions that can snag laundry passing through the system. All parts are interlocking, the stainless steel wall brackets hold the chute securely in place and the locking bands stop the laundry chute parts from twisting. Tiger chute components generally have a polished stainless steel finish and offer a 30 minute fire rating because they are manufactured using one of the highest grade 316L (1.4404) stainless steel, and will last years ahead of other manufacturers that offer a grade 304L (1.4301) material. We are satisfied that we are the only UK based company using highest grade 316 stainless steel ducting for our laundry Tiger Chute systems and confident in their durability and hard wearing materials used.

Note 3: Bottom End Closure Damper (TCD400) can be ordered separately. A bottom end closure damper provides a fully adjustable weighted and EPDM sealed door that can prevent odours travelling to the floors above through passive stack effect, whilst providing a tight closure in the event of a fire thus preventing smoke/fumes passing upward to the floors above
