The Ruck Etaline Impeller is that of a diagonal fan with three-dimensionally curved impeller blades and a stator with three dimensionally curved blades. This allows for an excellent aerodynamic efficiency. The Ruck Etaline E impeller is balanced in two planes (G6.3 DIN ISO 1940). The motor is an asynchronous capacitor motor voltage controllable by means of a separate transformer. The Ruck E motor is protected in the hub area and has no negative impact on the fan aerodynamics. A built-in thermostatic switch protects the motor from overloading. External Etaline fan casings up to size 200mm are manufactured from polyamide plastic; for the sizes 250 to 355, the housing is made of galvanised steel sheet. Ruck Etaline fans 400mm and above the housing is made of aluminium. Variable Ruck fan installations are possible both in the horizontal or vertical positions. Direct in-line installation with direct connections to the ducting is the preferred method. Etaline fans are provided with an integrated mounting bracket for easy fan installation. ETALINE sets high efficiency standards for the complete performance range. The Etaline E speed controllable fan motor is furthermore an attractive alternative to considerably more expensive control systems. Energy savings using the high efficiency of ETALINE is based on its aerodynamic quality. The Etaline E series considerably reduces pressure losses in installations in comparison to centrifugal fans, due to the axial air flow performance. The high aerodynamic and motor efficiency has made it possible for Ruck to design an extremely compact and weight optimised fan.
